Group Express (Groupex) Inc

Groupex was founded in 1993 by Reynald Blais, Jeff McKinnon, Marc Lalonde, Gabriel Jeaurond, Maurice Jeaurond, Claude Campeau and Jaques Trottier. They started as a local LTL and TL service with 3 tractors and 3 straight trucks. Just 3 months into the business, Claude Campeau left the company and 4 months after that Marc Lalonde and Jaques Trottier also left to pursue other ventures.

After 1.5 years in business with heavy competition and new technologies Group Express was continuing to show prosperity.

Group Express regrouped and added more trucks to provide more service to the ever increasing demand. After 1.5 years in business with heavy competition and new technologies Group Express was continuing to show prosperity. To provide the exceptional service that the company's reputation demanded the remaining 4 partners put in 15 to 18 hour work days. The company continued to grow, hiring employees to help ensure that the same quality of service be provided.

In 2000 the local LTL Division was sold and Reynald Blais decided to buy all of the company shares and is now the sole owner of Group Express (Groupex) Inc. Groupex Express has now grown to a fleet of 23 tractors, 8 trailers and provides dedicated fleet point in the United States and Canada.

From the company owned 5000 sq. ft. maintenance facility every truck and trailer is cleaned, inspected and undergoes preventative maintenance weekly. The Groupex fleet is one of the safest in Ontario and United States !
