I have been fortunate in my life to have the opportunity to travel to many unique and exotic destinations. Eventually, I came to realize that for the all the awe-inspiring vistas and amazing geographical wonders, none surpassed the emotions that I felt when I met people.

I also realized that cultural, social, economic and religious differences all converge under the umbrella of art and that everyone finds his or her own expression of life through some art form, be it painting, sculpture, song or dance. During my travels, I often stood before a piece of art and could not help feeling that the artist had poured their heart and soul into the piece. I would ask the artist to explain the story surrounding the piece of art thus revealing more of the social and historical background behind the art. I feel that each piece I collect holds a small part of the artist’s mind and soul. Each piece that I collect allows me to share the experience with my friends and family.

Guests at my house would often contemplate the same art pieces and I would share with them the story behind the art. I realized that I had developed a passion for foreign art and I felt compelled to share this feeling with everyone.

As a result, I decided to initiate this website where I would make available to the public at large the very art that I love so much and share the same passion with all.
