This is a rural conference and retreat centre located 20 minutes from Parliament Hill, but situated a world away in terms of atmosphere. The setting is a maple forest on a cliff overlooking the majestic Gatineau River Valley, with walking trails and serene vistas providing a relaxing environment.
The three meeting rooms include wireless Internet access and AV equipment. The largest room accomodates up to 60 seminar participants; the second holds 25 in a boardroom configuration, and the third seats a meeting of up to 12.
Econiche also provides team-building activities on a challenging rope course, similar to the programs the British Army used to train officers to think creatively-a system since hosted by Econiche founder Dr. Brian C. Baily and his Leaders-of-Tomorrow Institute.
