We have a growing number of locations offering a full line of fairly-traded and organic coffees and teas, as well as a large selection of fresh healthful food items.
Our Kitchen crew expands each time that we add a new location. We make every baked good (with the exception of croissants), soup, salad, and sandwich filling from scratch in our Kitchen. This is a tireless team of dedicated people that keeps our fresh, home made food coming every single day of the week.
What's in Store
We will be moving our 108 Third Avenue coffeehouse to a sunnier location at the corner of Bank Street and Second Avenue. We are planning to be open in our new location December 1. We will also be featuring a beautiful new Synesso espresso machine and Clover machine. If you haven’t had a chance to enjoy one of our lattes prepared with one of our Synesso machines you are in for a very big treat. It is a thing of beauty that offers incredible creamy texture with a satisfying coffee depth.
And if you prefer more of a classic coffee, the Clover offers a special vacuum press brew. It enhances the natural aromas, softens flavours and deepens mouth feel in a way that a regular brewed coffee cannot compare. The other wonderful thing about this machine is that it is prepared one cup at a time so you can choose your preferred origin or blend. We’ll grind it and prepare in while you wait. If you have never enjoyed your coffee black, try a Custom Origin Coffee made with our Clover. You’ll be surprised at the range of pleasant flavours you experience.
So your inquiring mind wants to know more? You’ve come to the right place. There are four main areas of story telling in this section. First we have a Feature Story that we like to share from time to time about something important happening at one of our co-operatives or tea gardens or maybe something compelling even happening at Bridgehead.
Second, we give you more background on the people that grow the coffee, tea, cocoa, and sugar that you love. And we throw in a bunch of factoids that you can throw about the coffeehouse table. Third, we tell you all about Bridgehead. And finally, we share more details about our commitment to social responsibility through fair trade, organics, the environment, and community support.
